Scriptly is a Shopify app by Prokop Studio that rebuilds legacy Shopify Scripts as native checkout rules — discounts, payment and delivery customizations. If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at bogartlg@gmail.com.
We collect and store your shop domain, your app configuration (the rules you create and their settings), your subscription/plan status, and any pasted Script text you submit through the importer (stored as part of your import history). We do not collect or store customer personal information — no names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses.
Our Shopify Functions read cart contents and customer tags at checkout, in memory, solely to evaluate the rules you configured. This data is processed transiently inside Shopify's Functions runtime and never leaves it — it is never logged and never stored by us.
When you use the AI Script importer, the pasted Ruby Script code is sent to Anthropic's API to translate it into rule configuration. Scripts contain business logic, not customer data. We never execute your Ruby code.
Uninstalling the app triggers Shopify's data-removal webhooks. We delete all shop data (rules, settings, sessions) within 48 hours of receiving the shop/redact webhook.
All traffic is transmitted over TLS. Data is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database.
We comply with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Since we hold no customer personal data, a data_request returns nothing to report.
